摘要: The authors review the current understanding of lymphatic anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology lymphedema. skin system consists initial lymphatics, which converge into precollectors, collectors ducts; these in turn convey lymph to regional nodes. Interstitial fluid particles enter lymphatics through interendothelial openings by vesicular transport. Lymphatic uptake is enhanced external compression. transport depends greatly on contraction lymphangions, generate suction force that promotes absorption interstitial expels collecting ducts. In lymphedema, various types congenital acquired abnormalities vessels nodes have been observed. These often lead hypertension, valvular insufficiency lymphostasis. Accumulation within subcutaneous tissue stimulates fibroblasts, keratinocytes adipocytes eventuating deposition collagen glycosaminoglycans together with hypertrophy destruction elastic fibers.
