摘要: The effects of oxygen-derived free radicals on the contractile activity mesenteric collecting lymphatics were evaluated in anesthetized rat. Lymphatic contractions monitored before, during and after application oxyradicals. Contraction frequency (F), stroke volume (SV), ejection fraction (EF), contraction propagation (PC), lymph pump flow (LPF) determined from lymphatic diameter tracings. Oxyradicals generated using hypoxanthine xanthine oxidase. Exposure to oxyradicals inhibited pumping mechanism: 1) F fell 15.5 +/- 0.8 0.7 beats/min; 2) EF went 0.44 0.02 0.08 0.04; 3) PC dropped 92 2 56 8%; 4) LPF precipitously 41.0 5.2 0.4 nl/min. attenuated by superoxide dismutase, implicating anion as one predominant causative agents. We conclude that significantly inhibit this inhibition could be a factor contributing formation interstitial edema inflammation.
