摘要: In this study, we analize the functional influence of animals on plants they interact with in a mediterranean mountain. We hypothesise that seed dispersers, predators, and browsers can act as biotic filters for plant communities. analyse combined effects mutualistic (seed dispersal) antagonistic predation, herbivory) animal interactions mosaic landscape Mediterranean mountains, basing our results observational experimental field. Most dispersed seeds came from tree species, whereas population saplings was composed predominantly zoochorous shrub species. Seed predators preferentially consumed dominant fleshy-fruited shrubs had higher probability escaping these predators. The same pattern repeated among different units by browsers, since browsed selectively far more intensely tree-species than surrounding shrubs. synthesis, work identifies major processes appear to be favoring community dominated versus trees because herbivores together favored dispersal establishment trees.
