摘要: An apparatus and method for testing an upstream path of a cable network are disclosed. The is tested by capturing analyzing data packets generated specific terminal device. A test instrument connected at node the network. establishes communication session with headend, informing headend identifier device that will generate packet. packet captured analyzed so results analysis can be communicated back to instrument. To speed up filtering process, pre-filtered based on duration and/or arrival time.
