摘要: The role of government policies in the economic growth Singapore has been well documented. government’s actions, such as provision appropriate infrastructure, have resulted massive inflow foreign capital to Singapore. Government sponsorship selected industries and investment helped domestic firms gain access advanced technologies. During 1990s there was a significant increase spending on research development (R&D) that can be attributed technologies by Singaporean firms. This paper examines impact government-funded R&D fostering Singapore’s industrial production 1990s. study explicitly considers performance three within manufacturing sector: machinery equipment industry, electrical transport industry. It is shown fluctuations real had positive industries.
