摘要: Purified β-amino acids are of considerable interest in the preparation pharmacologically active compounds. Although enantiomerically pure acids, such as L-β-lysine, can be produced by standard chemical synthesis, this traditional approach is time consuming, requires expensive starting materials, and results a racemic mixture which must purified further. However, DNA molecules encoding lysine 2,3-aminomutase used to prepare L-β-lysine methods that avoid pitfalls synthesis. In particular, synthesized cultures host cells express recombinant 2,3-aminomutase. Alternatively, provide source for isolating quantities 2,3-aminomutase, turn, produce vitro.
