摘要: We demonstrate that it is possible to modulate the thermal emission through an electrical modulation of emissivity. The basic idea design a device where absorption due resonant phenomenon. If resonance can be electrically controlled, then and, therefore, controlled. this general concept using THz by surface phonon polaritons coupled gold grating. In our device, mostly mode confined in single quantum well (QW). emissivity controlled controlling refractive index gate voltage electron density. This paves way modulated incandescent sources.
