摘要: Purpose To determine the effect of pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) on oxygen saturation in retinal vessels patients with diabetes and non-diabetes after a 1-year follow-up. Methods This was prospective consecutive interventional case series 82 eyes patients. The sample consisted 25 non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy macular oedema based vitreoretinal traction or epiretinal membrane (ERM) 57 non-diabetic hole ERM. Automatic oximetry (Oxymap Inc.) used all 24 hr prior to PPV, it also 7 52 weeks PPV (classic 20G sutureless 23G). We analysed data according subgroup diagnosis lens status. Results Arterial increased significantly from 96.4 ± 2.9% at baseline 96.6 ± 3.4% week 97.3 ± 3.4% 52 (p < 0.0001; Friedman test). Vein 63.5 ± 7.9% 66.1 ± 7.7% 67.0 ± 7.2% weeks value arteriovenous (A-V) difference decreased 32.8 ± 7.5% 30.5 ± 7.5% 30.3 ± 7.0% analysis revealed that diabetes, there were no statistically significant changes blood A-V PPV. After vitrectomy, vessel diameter reduced by about 3.5% both groups Further, opacification leads decrease contrast clear pseudophakic IOLs. Conclusion Oxygen is higher veins arteries non-diabetes, this lasts for least 52 weeks. In contrast, increase vitrectomy. nuclear cataract progression has substantial results. Patients exhibited an veins, but remained same.
