摘要: Apoptosis is a key concept for the successful therapy of brain tumors. This review focuses on mechanisms apoptosis occurring spontaneously in malignant gliomas, discusses different methods employed to assess vivo and vitro, considers value quantifying surgical biopsies diagnosis prognosis. Further, novel strategies induce human glioma cells are reviewed, including experimental with death ligands, sensitizing induction apoptosis, p53 gene transfer, approaches target expression therapeutic genes selectively tumor cells.
