摘要: • The hypothesis that acid gastroesophageal reflux may be responsible for the persistence of apnea was tested on 20 prematurely born infants, at a median conceptional age 38.7 weeks. Gastroesophageal identified using distal esophageal pH monitoring. Apneas durations greater than 10 seconds were and classified as either central or obstructive mixed, recordings respiration. Wakefulness, active sleep, quiet sleep electroencephalography by assessing eye movements. Of 134 episodes in subjects, more occurred during wakefulness sleep. A total 139 apneas, predominantly mixed type, occurred. No relationship could, however, demonstrated, this rather small number patients, between occurrence apneas. ( AJDC . 1991;145:1132-1136)
