摘要: The infection by Neospora caninum is distributed worldwide and has been considered an important cause of abortion in cattle, which are intermediate hosts the parasite. present article reports serological survey N.caninum 1024 serum samples sheep water buffalo from 55 herds 16 counties state Rio Grande do Sul (RS). Antibodies to agent were detected ELISA 11.4% (89/781) bovine samples, 14.6% (24/164) 3.2% (2/62) sera. Positive cattle all tested counties. These results demonstrate that N. widespread among other ruminants state. Taken together with previous clinical pathological reports, these indicative importance parasite as etiological reproductive failure RS.
