摘要: Abstract Walleye stocking is a major program of many fisheries agencies in North America; 32 state, federal, and provincial reported walleye between 1986 1991. This study describes survey 29 that operated fingerling programs during this period. The average number fingerlings stocked annually by each agency time was 32.5 million fish. Based on median cost 2 cents per cm fish size 5.1 cm, operating expenditures for all producing period totaled US$19 million. primary purpose to rehabilitate or supplement existing populations establish new self-sustaining populations. Future 1996–2000 likely increase substantially unless restricted funding constraints.
