Elimination of prostacyclin (PGI2) and 6-oxo-PGF1 alpha in anaesthetized dogs.

摘要: The plasma concentration of 6-oxo-PGF1 alpha was measured by radioimmunoassay after constant rate infusion or prostacyclin (PGI2) into anaesthetized dogs. A steady-state rapidly attained with both compounds. After termination the infusions, declined according to a bi-exponential process. concentrations obtained and PGI2 were approximately 10 times higher than corresponding level PGF2 alph same data presented suggest that are eliminated more slowly alpha, probably because they not taken up metabolized in lungs as alpha.
