摘要: This is the first study to assess diversity and community structure of Agaricomycotina in an ectotrophic forest using above-ground fruiting body surveys as well soil rDNA sampling. We recovered 132 molecular operational taxonomic units, or 'species', from bodies 66 soil, with little overlap. Fruiting sampling primarily fungi Agaricales, Russulales, Boletales Cantharellales. Many these species are ectomycorrhizal form large bodies. Soil groups addition taxa overlooked during survey Atheliales, Trechisporales Sebacinales. Species inconspicuous, resupinate corticioid also detected Hysterangiales that underground. Generally, samples recover a largely different assemblage at level; however, both methods identify same dominant genus-order level prevailing type. Richness, abundance, phylogenetic (PD) Agaricales fungal group above- below-ground; we find molecularly highly divergent lineages may account for greater proportion total PD measure compared richness abundance. Unless exhaustive inventory required, rapidity versatility DNA-based be sufficient assessment ecological soil.
