摘要: The management of hospitalized diabetic patients for any cause is often difficult and affected not only by the comorbidities patient but also hospital setting. It well known that at admission antidiabetic drugs should be discontinued on behalf insulin therapy with analogues, as a function basal-bolus approach according to phenotype patient, type nutrition (enteral or parenteral rather than oral), concomitant hyperglycemic ( e.g. , steroid). average stay significantly correlated both number hypoglycemia hyperglycemia. Compared treated sliding scale using custom algorithm show significant reduction in hyperglycemia episodes length stay. We analyze clinical profile novel basal insulin, degludec, explore potential benefit inpatient. continuation home immediate post-hospitalization (if necessary), correlates rate re-hospitalization, which combined close follow-up diabetes can result chronic complications.
