摘要: Klinefelter's syndrome (KS, XXY) as a risk factor for developing breast cancer was evaluated in retrospective study of 93 unselected male patients from the Healthcare region Western Sweden. Archival normal material lymph nodes or skin and subcutaneous tissue examined using FISH (fluorescence situ hybridisation)-technique. The best yield intact nuclei obtained node tissue. prevalence rate KS males with found to be 7.5 per cent, much higher than previously reported (approximately 3 cent). Methodological differences are suggested cause increased rate.
