摘要: Our study aims to determine how different climatic variables influence bat activity and mortality at wind farms in Portugal. The was conducted from March October 2007 a farm with 20 turbines located Northern Bat determined by ground bounded acoustic sampling, while assessed through fatality searches around each turbine. Sampling occurred weekly measured the night before search. highest rates were Nyctalus leisleri Pipistrellus pipistrellus. majority of (95% 94% that order) August both significantly correlated speed, temperature relative humidity; also appeared be influenced direction. results show it is possible establish relationship between mortality. are relevant for implementation effective minimization measures and, theref...
