摘要: The optimization of the mechanical properties composites requires a detailed simulation complex deformation and failure mechanisms which arise in these heterogeneous microstructures upon loading. It has been shown that damage form particle fracture, interface decohesion or ductile matrix controls many important properties, this led to development micromechancial models include damage. This article reviews current progress area within framework two leading approaches: homogeneization techniques finite element analysis three-dimensional multiparticle unit cells. Although tools presented are general, they focused on analysing behavior metal- polymer-matrix reinforced with stiff brittle ceramic particles.
