摘要: Summary Objectives Whether immunological mechanisms underlie Q-fever fatigue syndrome (QFS) remains unclear. For acute Q-fever, the antigen-specific interferon-γ (IFNγ) response may be a useful tool for diagnosis, and IFNγ/interleukin(IL)-2 production ratio marker chronic treatment monitoring. Here we explored specific IFNγ IFNγ/IL-2 in QFS patients. Methods IL-2 were tested ex-vivo stimulated whole blood of patients (n = 20), compared to those previously determined seropositive controls (n = 135), (n = 28). Also, correlation between patient characteristics IFNγ, IL-2, was determined. Results younger (p  Coxiella burnetii Nine Mile stimulation revealed higher (median 319.5 pg/ml) than (120 pg/ml, p  Conclusions These results point an altered cell-mediated immunity QFS, suggest different immune Q-fever.
