摘要: Abstract Vaccine manufacturers have recently focused on the development of in vitro potency assays to promote 3R's strategy replace animal testing. To be able develop an assay, immunological characteristics monoclonal antibodies used in assay should well understood as these likely reflect biological activity a vaccine product. The PRN antigen is one immunogenic antigens included many commercialized acellular pertussis vaccines. Development for challenging properties are not understood. In addition, binding Bordetella human cells occurs through multiple bacterial molecules, which makes it very assess if contribute prevention adhesion. overcome challenges, functionality several in-house anti-PRN mAbs has been investigated novel approach using PRN-coated beads. We were consistently quantify inhibition PRN-mediated adhesion each mAb. Application protein-coated beads model only enabled screening functional but can also expanded against other or viral antigens.
