摘要: Until the discovery of leptin 20 years ago, adipose tissue was considered only as a fat storage organ, involved in regulation energy homeostasis. At present, it is well known that adipokines, being forerunner this superfamily, may act different biological processes, including inflammation and immunity. In review, we have explored recent evidence about relationship between immune system, summarizing most important findings related to involvement both innate adaptive response.
