Off the beaten tracks: The neglected significance of interiority for sustainable urban development

摘要: Interiority, the inner being, consciousness, is core theme of this essay. My main concern application rather marginal approaches to address future potentials for sustainable urban development variously referred as holistic, integral, transdisciplinary or meta-theoretical. What characterizes them an attempt acknowledge many different types knowledge, including what typically called “Eastern” and “Western” science, culture, arts also perennial wisdom traditions.
