摘要: An apparatus and a method to permit virtually any magnetic resonance imaging system image slices of orientation by converting its three-channel gradient current demand--a set three time-varying voltages proportional the instantaneous currents required in x, y z coils--into that for chosen plane or volume are provided. The method, which is referred as axis translation, involves taking input readout, phase-encoding slice-selecting gradients from system's host computer rotating these through angles operator. This accomplished using 3×3 analogue matrix outputs appropriate demand vector thereafter interpreted X, Y Z coils conventional manner.
