摘要: Study Objectives: This study assessed differences in spontaneous sleep and locomotor activity inbred hybrid mouse strains evaluated telemetry for recording mice. Design: Uninterrupted recordings of home cage were obtained four strains. Pre-operative post-operative was two Settings: N/A Participants: The subjects mice three (C57BL/6J (B6), n=25; BALB/cJ (C), n=24; DBA/2J (D2), n=30) one (CB6F1/J (CB6: C x B6), n=19) strain. Interventions: Electroencephalogram (EEG) recorded by telemetry, behavioral states visually scored based on EEG records. Home determined utilizing photo-beam interruptions. Measurements Results: 1) Among the strains: had least greatest amount activity; D2 exhibited non-rapid-eye-movement (NREM) sleep, longest average NREM-bout length, diurnal ratio most inactive; B6 an intermediate level; no among observed total REM. CB6 levels greater amounts REM compared to its parental 2) Total operative mortality 9.3%, with all deaths occurring within 3 9 days after operation; significant reductions operation. Conclusion: Differences exist Accurate determination can be achieved telemetrically activity.
