摘要: Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the safety, feasibility and clinical efficacy a single intra-articular injection autologous purified micro-fragmented adipose tissue for treatment osteoarthritis (OA) in dogs. Study Design Twenty-one client-owned dogs with radiographically confirmed OA were recruited into prospective study. Lameness discomfort evaluated by physical examination at day 0 then 14, 30, 60 180 days after injection. Kinetic data temporospatial parameters obtained using pressure-sensing walkway. Peak vertical force, impulse percentages body weight distribution determined. Owner perception regarding their own dog's activity also collected Canine Brief Pain Inventory. Results Radiographic scores from similar, except two No major side effects noted Inventory significantly lower all time points compared 0. Post-injection results demonstrated gradual improvement kinetic up pre-treatment values: (>2.25%), peak force (>5.32%) (>3.6%). In elbow OA, gait analysis values increased Conclusion Regenerative therapy is promising alternative traditional analgesics patients associated significant reductions pain lameness, delayed disease progression improved quality life.
