摘要: The hexagonal layer structure of host atoms in chloro, bromo, and iodo derivatives 2,4,6-tris(4-halophenoxy)-1,3,5-triazine, X-POT, is stabilized by a cyclic cooperative halogen trimer (X···X) synthon. X···X distance ∼3.5 A isostructural channel inclusion adducts Cl-POT Br-POT, whereas I···I ∼3.8 cage structures I-POT with aromatic hydrophobic guests. X-ray crystal mesitylene, collidine, tribromomesitylene, triiodomesitylene, hexachlorobenzene, hexafluorobenzene, 1-methylnaphthalene, CH2Cl2, CH2Br2, CH2I2 guests R3 space group are reported. Host molecules fully ordered these clathrates, guest disordered except for C6Cl6 C6F6. molecule resides penta-decker sandwich surrounded double layers triazine ring. Supramolecular isomerism from to framework the persistent crystallization trigonal X-POT high-symmetry networks (spac...
