摘要: We examined the functional connections from inspiratory neurons in ventrolateral medulla to phrenic motoneurons 11 Sprague-Dawley rats with intact vagi anaesthetized sodium pentobarbital and paralysed pancuronium bromide. Cross-correlation histograms were computed between extracellular activity of 70 these discharge nerves; 38 contralateral only, 10 ipsilateral only 22 bilaterally. A total peaks detected cross-correlation histograms. These classified as indicating common activation or synaptic connection according their latencies onset, those suggesting monosynaptic paucisynaptic half-amplitude widths. Nine excitation for 7 ventral group neurons; 4 not tested connections, 2 bilateral 1 a connection. Four 3 (previously mentioned) excitation. The remaining 9 due neurons. also left right nerve discharges 5 all displayed central broad indicative activation, possibly bilaterally projecting medullary concluded that there is substantial by rat.
