摘要: Abstract Methods for the microdetermination of glycogen and amylopectin their average unit-chain lengths are described. The determination polysaccharides relies on quantitative conversion into glucose by amyloglucosidase. chainlength requires simultaneous use two enzymes, pullulanase β-amylase, complete degradation to maltose glucose. specific measurement formed permits calculation chain length. methods were tested with samples amylopectin, whose had been determined periodate oxidation. In all cases there was good agreement between results chemical enzymic determinations. analyses may be performed less than 1 mg polysaccharide, so particularly appropriate examination in biopsy specimens.
