摘要: Abstract A dense, uniform, crack free and well-bonded oxidation-protective mullite coating was successfully fabricated on SiC-coated carbon/carbon (C/C) composites by a novel hot dipping process. XRD EDS line scanning analyses shows that the phase of is composed bonding between C/C SiC Si. Besides, SEM images surface cross-section also display dense microstructure. The mullite/SiC found to protect from oxidation at 1773 K for 168 h with weight loss rate only 3.9×10 −5 g cm −2 h −1 .
