Effects of Azospirillum brasilense on nodulation and growth of common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.)

摘要: Abstract Combined inoculation of potted common bean plants with Rhizobium and Azospirillum significantly increased both upper total nodule number N2-fixation as compared alone. At an concentration 108 cfu ml−1, the combined reduced root shoot dry weight accumulation in comparison alone uninoculated controls. However, when was performed using a lower (5 × 106 ml−1), positive effects on plant growth were observed, although enhancement nodulation not great observed at higher concentration. Field application these findings are discussed.
