摘要: Young's modulus measurements have been made on Al-Li alloys containing up to 32 at % lithium, in an attempt determine the cause of high that characterizes this potentially important alloy system. In commercial interest (7–11 %, 2–3 wt lithium) is range 79 83 GPa, actual value depending heat-treatment conditions. The major contribution increased arises from lithium solid solution. moduli Al3 Li and AlLi intermetallic phases are estimated be 96 GPa 105 respectively. Additions magnesium system produce a small decrease modulus, e.g. 4.5 (4 %) reduces by approximately 2 GPa.
