MAPPING ECOSYSTEM SERVICES SUPPLY IN MOUNTAIN REGIONS: A CASE STUDY FROM SOUTH TYROL (ITALY)

摘要: Mountain regions provide many ecosystem services and spatially explicit assessments have to account for their specific topographic climatic conditions. Moreover, it is fundamental understand synergies trade-offs of multiple services. In this study, supply, including forage production, timber water carbon sequestration, soil stability, quality, the aesthetic value, was quantified in bio-physical terms on landscape scale South Tyrol.
