摘要: Forest ecosystems are fundamental for the terrestrial biosphere as they deliver multiple essential ecosystem services (ES). In environmental management, understanding ES distribution and interactions assessing economic value of forest represent future challenges. this study, we developed a spatially explicit method based on multi-scale approach (MiMoSe-Multiscale Mapping ecoSystem services) to assess current potential given area provide ES. To do modified improved InVEST model in order adapt input data simulations context Mediterranean ecosystems. Specifically, integrated GIS-based model, scenario valuation investigate two (wood production carbon sequestration) their trade-offs test located Molise region (Central Italy). Spatial information trade-off analyses were used influence alternative management scenarios investigated services. Scenario A was designed describe Business Usual approach. Two approaches oriented towards nature protection (scenario B) or wood C) compared A. Management simulated at scale units over 20-year time period. Our results show that influenced provision associated benefits regional scale. area, Total Ecosystem Services Value increases 85% B decreases 82% C, when study contributes ongoing debate about synergies between sequestration with socio-ecological systems. The MiMoSe can be replicated other contexts similar characteristics, thus providing useful basis projection from future.
