摘要: Arthroscopic synovectomy is a valuable tool in treating synovitis of the knee joint. We have identified group patients who benefit from ankle synovectomy. To determine indications and long-term results arthroscopic ankle, we evaluated history, preoperative examination, roentgenograms, operative data underwent this procedure had minimum 2 years follow-up. Sixteen were identified. Sprains inversion-type injuries common young patient group. All failed conservative therapy. Operative findings revealed hypertrophic synovium all cases. Good or excellent obtained 75% patients, using subjective functional evaluation scale. Complications one deep infection, superficial temporary sensory paresthesia. Chronic synovitis, anterior soft-tissue impingement, was responsive to treatment did not deteriorate over time.
