摘要: The measurement of the thermal conductivity a fluid by means transient hot-wire technique so far has made use an analytical solution energy conservation equation for ideal model, coupled with set approximate corrections to account small departures from model. For this be valid, constraints were always imposed on experimental conditions and construction apparatus, resulting in inability measure high-thermal diffusivity fluids. In paper, equations describing apparatus is solved using numerical finite-element method. Because no solutions are involved, provides much more general treatment heat transfer processes taking part real experiment, removing all aforementioned constraints. case liquids (fluids low thermal-diffusivity values), fully agrees existing solution. gases, present allows extension application where value high.
