摘要: Lung tumors and pulmonary metastases together are the most common cause of cancer-related death in men second frequent women. Up to now, surgical resection has remained gold standard treatment tumors, being only option that was potentially curative offered possibility a significant increase life expectancy after successful therapy. Over past decade, percutaneous radiofrequency ablation (RFA) gained worldwide acceptance primary secondary liver with intent, so indications for RFA have been extended embrace other organs, e.g. lung. Since first case results were described, number publications dealing lung using thermal ablative therapies increased significantly. The aims present article give short overview emerging such as cyberknife surgery also, especially, describe technique RFA, discuss ideal method follow-up, highlight possible complications therapy current tumors. In addition, value combining modes (especially chemotherapy radiation therapy)is briefly treated.
