摘要: The optimization of the pilot overhead in wireless fading channels is investigated, and dependence this on various system parameters interest (e.g., rate, signal-to-noise ratio) quantified. achievable pilot-based spectral efficiency expanded with respect to rate about no-fading point, which leads an accurate order expansion for overhead. This identifies that overhead, as well penalty a reference genie-aided CSI (channel state information) at receiver, depend square root normalized Doppler frequency. It also shown widely-used block model special case more continuous models terms efficiency. Furthermore, it established multiantenna systems effectively same single-antenna frequency multiplied by number transmit antennas.
