摘要: Summary Introduction The aim of this study was to evaluate changes in the pharyngeal and lower facial morphology Turkish female Class III patients 1.5 ± 0.4 years after mandibular setback surgery (bilateral sagittal split osteotomy), orthodontic multi-bracket treatment. Only women with prognathism were selected because sex differences airway evident. Material methods Lateral cephalograms 25 (mean age: 25.4 ± 2.6 years) prognathism, assessed before operation. Paired t Pearson tests used. Results showed significant soft-palate length posterior reference line (PRL) point tongue. decrease PTV–Pg distance correlated decreases PRL–PSP, PRL–PTO PRL–E distances. It considered normal for adapt improve hard tissue relationship. Conclusion significantly changed narrowed surgery.
