摘要: This paper investigates the possibility of automating detection propagating intensity perturbations in coronal loops using wavelet analysis. Two different sets TRACE 171 A images are studied automated routine presented by McAteer et al. (2004). Both localised, short-lived periodicities and sustained, periodic, oscillations picked up routine, with results dependent to a large extent on signal-to-noise ratio dataset. At present, automation is only partial; relevance detected periodicity identification structure supporting it still have be determined user, as does judging accuracy results. Care has taken when interpreting analysis, good knowledge all possible factors that might influence or distort necessity. Despite these limitations, analysis can play an important role automatically identifying variety phenomena ever-growing (observational simulated) datasets.
