摘要: Rho-like GTPases play a pivotal role in the orchestration of changes actin cytoskeleton response to receptor stimulation, and have been implicated transcriptional activation, cell growth regulation, oncogenic transformation. Recently, for RhoA regulation cardiac contractility hypertrophic cardiomyocyte has suggested but mechanisms underlying function heart remain undefined. We now report that transcription factor GATA-4, key regulator genes, is nuclear mediator signaling involved control sarcomere assembly cardiomyocytes. Both GATA-4 are essential sarcomeric reorganization stimuli overexpression either protein sufficient induce reorganization. Consistent with convergence GATA signaling, potentiates activity via p38 MAPK-dependent pathway phosphorylates activation domains binding sites mediate target promoters. Moreover, dominant-negative abolishes RhoA-induced The identification as gene provides link between effects on remodeling.
