摘要: Secretoglobin (SCGB) 3A2 is a member of the SCGB gene superfamily small secreted proteins, predominantly expressed in lung airways. We hypothesize that human SCGB3A2 may exhibit anti-inflammatory, growth factor, and antifibrotic activities be clinical utility. Recombinant was expressed, purified, biochemically characterized as first step to its development therapeutic agent settings. Human SCGB3A2, well mouse readily formed dimer solution exhibited novel phospholipase A2 inhibitory activity. This demonstration any quantitative biochemical measurement for evaluation protein. In an experimental animal, factor activity by promoting embryonic both ex vivo systems bleomycin-induced fibrosis model. The results suggested can function humans. When administered pregnant female mice through tail vein, protein detected dam's serum lung, placenta, amniotic fluids, lungs at 10 min postadministration, suggesting crosses placenta. warrant further recombinant treating patients suffering from diseases or preterm infants with respiratory distress.
