摘要: Amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) analysis was used to study the genetic variation within and among populations of genus Olea. A group genotypes, all them cultivated varieties a single species, Olea europaea, compared with wild olives individuals belonging different species. Five primer combinations were which produced about 290 polymorphic bands. The data obtained elaborated Nei’s similarity coefficient, applying clustering methods Principal Coordinate Analysis. Cultivars, North-West African species formed groups together at level 0.56, while from East Africa Asia grouped separately. Species Indian Ocean Australia showed highest diversity. We hypothesize that cultivars plants are forms same O. europaea may be assigned role laperrini as well maroccana an intermediary form is confirmed.
