摘要: Purpose. We studied the prognostic significance of Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) in operated high grade gliomas. Materials and Methods. Twelve patients were treated with radiotherapy Temozolomide. The MRS data taken four weeks after operation (before radiotherapy) every six months completion RT. N-acetyl aspartate, choline, creatine, myo-inositol parameters quantified, analyzed, correlated to recurrence-free survival (RFS). Results. median RFS was 26.06 months. significantly worse elderly (P = 0.001) along higher choline/creatine ratios at either baseline 0.003) or post Radiotherapy 0.042). Median 23 levels ≥2 6 11 for those <2 levels. There a significant correlation maximum difference ratio (rho 0.64, P 0.045). Conclusion. Age are strong independent factors
