摘要: It is proved that a conducting channel transmitting perfectly without backscattering present independent of energy in metallic carbon nanotubes for scatterers with potential range larger than the lattice constant. In case several traveling channels are present, conductance decreases from ideal value determined by number modes to single-channel when length exceeds mean free path Boltzmann transport equation. Further, inelastic scattering makes decrease proportion inverse qualitative agreement result.
