摘要: The conductance of disordered wires with symplectic symmetry is studied by a random-matrix approach. It has been shown that the behavior in long-wire limit crucially depends on whether number conducting channels even or odd. We focus metallic regime where wire length much shorter than localization length, and calculate ensemble-averaged its variance for both even- odd-channel cases. find weak-antilocalization correction to case equivalent even-channel case. Furthermore, we dose not depend These results indicate contrast limit, clear even–odd differences cannot be observed regime.
