摘要: Abstract This review is concerned primarily with the correlation between interfacial interactions and constitutive properties of low-energy organic surfaces. It starts a discussion on estimation surface free energy solids from contact angles, followed by energetics adhesion. The experimental measurements energy, in most cases, are themselves dependent upon specific models therefore indirect. A direct method estimating adhesion based mechanics, which measures deformation produced contacting elastic semispheres under influence forces external loads, Since equilibrium described balance system, load-deformation data can be translated directly to estimate energies. In cases however, deformations obtained loading unloading cycles exhibit hysteresis, sensitive structure chemical compositions interfaces. For non-hysteretic systems, energies these compare well values angles. application this studies dispersion hydrogen-bonding interaction reviewed.
