摘要: Ecosystem-Based Management (EBM), intended to restore, enhance and/or protect the resilience of ecosystems, is gaining momentum. It often argued, though, that some difficulties provide practical guidance conduct EBM stems from lack a clear definition. emphasises on factoring in complex linkages social-ecological systems; dealing with adequate scales (both time and space wise); promoting adaptive management dynamic adopting integrated assessment frameworks. This chapter shows, one side, challenges build consensus definition both conceptually theoretically sound as well practicable; other, enabling factors make actually happen.
