摘要: Mitochondria are dynamic organelles that integrated within cellular metabolic, biosynthetic and signaling cascades. Accordingly, work over the past decade has demonstrated mitochondria bud vesicles vary in their contents compartmental destinations. These mitochondrial-derived (MDVs) function toward a diverse set of outcomes, including transport factors between organelles, regulation mitochondrial dynamics, surveillance health, coordination immune responses via antigen presentation (MitAP). Here, we discuss diversity these pathways vesicle transport, while drawing out mechanistic commonalities principles. In this manner, address need for to shed vesicles, highlight potential convergence multiple MDV Parkinson's disease pathophysiology.
