摘要: A first study was made on the microbial community composition of Indonesian crater lake Kawah Ijen (pH 2.6. Bacteria were not detected in water column lake, but found at all locations along acidic river. Bacterial diversity increased with increasing pH. Eukarya only present pH >2.6. Retrieved rRNA gene sequences and Archaea closely related to known acidophilic species. It is concluded that tolerance extreme acidity this system developed most extensively among Archaea. The gradient Banyupahit–Banyuputih river has a clear effect biodiversity.
