摘要: With an increasing diversity in American schools, teachers need to be able collaborate teaching. University courses are widely considered as a stage demonstrate or model the ways of collaboration. To respond this call, three authors team taught integrated methods course at urban public university city New York. Following qualitative research design, study explored both instructors‟ and pre-service teachers‟ experiences with course. Study findings indicate that collaborative teaching is feasible beneficial instructors teachers. For instructors, was reciprocal learning process where they were engaged thinking about broader innovative way. teachers, not only helped them understand how different subjects could related each other, but also provided opportunities for actually see collaboration take place Their understanding enhanced after
